This pack of gently-shaded silk threads is hand dyed by Chameleon Threads in South Africa using the Au ver a Soie 100% silk as the base thread. They are lovely to stitch with and a must have for the keen embroiderer. The Soie d’ Alger is a 7-stranded silk with a matt finish.
